What are VSTOXX futures (FVS) trading hours?

VSTOXX futures (FVS) trade on Eurex 01:10–22:00 CET in winter and 02:10–22:00 CEST in summer — a constant 00:10 UTC open; the expiring contract stops trading at 12:00 local time on its last trading day.

  • Remaining 2026 last trading days (all Wednesdays): Sep 16, Oct 21, Nov 18 and Dec 16 — 30 calendar days before the underlying EURO STOXX 50 option expiry.
  • EUR 100 per index point, 0.05 pt tick (EUR 5), eight nearest calendar months listed, cash-settled; the final settlement price is the average VSTOXX value between 11:00 and 12:00 on the last trading day.
  • In Beijing time the open is 08:10 year-round; the close is 05:00 next day in European winter and 04:00 in European summer.
