When is Eurex open?

Eurex equity index futures (FDAX, FESX, Mini- and Micro-DAX) trade 01:10–22:00 CET in winter and 02:10–22:00 CEST in summer — a constant 00:10 UTC open — Monday to Friday.

  • Conversions: opens 08:10 Beijing/Singapore time year-round; 20:10 New York (EDT) or 19:10 (EST) the previous evening.
  • European summer time runs Mar 29 – Oct 25, 2026; remaining Eurex closures: Dec 24, Dec 25 and Dec 31.

  • German government-bond futures (Schatz FGBS, Bobl FGBM, Bund FGBL, Buxl FGBX) share the 01:10–22:00 CET / 02:10–22:00 CEST clock; the expiring contract stops trading at 12:30 on its last trading day.

What are Eurex extended trading hours and trading sessions?

Eurex’s continuous trading session on T7 is its extended session: 01:10–22:00 CET in winter and 02:10–22:00 CEST in summer — roughly 20 hours a day, from the Asian morning through the New York close.

  • The open is a constant 00:10 UTC = 08:10 Beijing/Singapore all year; the 22:00 local close is 16:00 New York for most of the year (17:00 during the two to three weeks in March and late October–early November when Europe and the US are on different DST states).
  • Every Eurex product covered here trades these hours: the DAX family (FDAX, FDXM, FDXS), EURO STOXX 50 (FESX), VSTOXX (FVS) and the four German bond futures (FGBS/FGBM/FGBL/FGBX); Monday to Friday.
  • Only the continuous session is modelled here — the pre-trading, post-trading and off-book TES phases are not.

When do European futures markets open?

Among the European venues covered here, Eurex opens first at 00:10 UTC (01:10 CET in winter / 02:10 CEST in summer, i.e. 08:10 Beijing time); ICE Brent crude and LME metals in London follow at 01:00 London time.

  • Eurex: index, VSTOXX and bond futures open 00:10 UTC and close 22:00 local (05:00 next day Beijing in European winter, 04:00 in summer).
  • ICE Brent crude: 01:00–23:00 London time Tuesday to Friday, with the Monday session opening Sunday 23:00 London. LME LMEselect: 01:00–19:00 London time.
  • 01:00 London = 08:00 Beijing during British Summer Time or 09:00 in winter; = 20:00 the previous evening in New York, except for the two to three weeks each spring and autumn when UK and US clocks change on different dates.

What are DAX futures trading hours (FDAX, Mini-DAX, Micro-DAX)?

All three DAX futures share one clock: 01:10–22:00 CET in winter and 02:10–22:00 CEST in summer — 08:10 Beijing open all year, closing 05:00 (winter) or 04:00 (summer) next day Beijing time.

  • Contract multipliers: FDAX €25 per index point, Mini-DAX (FDXM) €5, Micro-DAX (FDXS) €1; the tick is 1 point for all three.
  • New York time: opens 19:10 (EST) or 20:10 (EDT) the previous evening and closes 16:00.
